Application

as one kind of bromo flame retardant, tetrabromobisphenol A is widely used in inflaming retarding of synthetic materials. For low toxicity and high compatibility, it is widely used in many fields. It is mainly used as additive for inflaming retarding of ABS, HIPS, epoxy resin, phenolic resin, unsaturated polyurethane, etc. As reactive flame retardant, it is widely used to produce bromo epoxy resin intermediates and bromo polycarbonate. And it can also be used to synthesize flame retardants of higher grade.
